FISHING: Excellent lake trout fishing and some nice perch.  Portage into two adjacent lakes for more lake trout. The odd rainbow trout has been taken, up to 10+ pounds.
LAKE STRUCTURE: Michi lake is located on Michipicoten Island in Lake Superior. The lake has a gravel bottom, crystal clear water and is very deep. There are marked trails down to Lake Superior.
CAMP:

Two bedroom frame camp built in 2006. Wired with a generator, hot and cold running water with a shower facility.  The camp has a 12' by 16' patio and boardwalks to all buildings. It has one refrigerator and 8 HP motors.

OTHER FEATURES: Michi offers much more than just fishing. If you are feeling adventurous you can hike down to the old copper mine on the shore of Lake Superior and do some exploring around the 100 year old mine site. Caribou are plentiful and you have a good chance of spotting one while on the island.
