Upper Pichogan

Upper Pichogan is a cozy log cabin that is situated in the Chapleau Game Preserve. It features excellent walleye and northern fishing in the main lake. Another walleye and northern lake are accessible from this location.
The Camp
This cozy one room log cabin is situated in a substantial open yard. It features hot and cold running water with a separate shower building and is wired with a generator for lights and to charge your electronic devices. There are 8 HP motors and a boat for every two guests.
Upper Pichogan has one portage to Jack Lake that is approximately a ten-minute walk. There is a boat and motor for more walleye and northern fishing. Northern Pike up to 40 inches have been caught here.

Fish in this Lake
For a small lake Upper Pichogan produces larger than average walleye, up to 28 inches. Northern are plentiful throughout the lake ranging from 25 to 30 inches.

Upper Pichogan has numerous shallow weedy bays and relatively clear water. The lake is approximately 35 feet deep and has a rocky mud bottom.
